OUR STORY

There is only one true God. The Godhead eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are One and are co-equals.

(Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 John 5:7; Matthew 28:19-20)

His virgin birth, His sinless life, His vicarious death and atonement through His blood, His bodily resurrection and ascension to the right hand of the Father and His future return to this earth in power and glory (Matthew 1:18-25)

The Holy Spirit descended on the Day of Pentecost according to the divine promise and dwells in every believer. His baptism is for all believers who ask for this experience. The Fruit of the Spirit and Gifts of the Spirit in the lives of believers are visible demonstrations of His presence.

(Acts 2:1-4, 38-39; Galatians 5:22).

The Bible, both Old and New Testament, is God’s written word, which is infallible and authoritative and is the only rule for Christian faith and conduct.  The Bible is the supreme and final authority in all matters it speaks about

(2 Timothy 3:16).

That man was created in the image of God and that Satan tempted him and fell, and that because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature, regeneration by the Holy Spirit was essential for salvation

(Genesis 1:27).

Salvation is God’s free gift to us, but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sins by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty.

Baptism in water is done by immersion and is for believers only. The ordinance symbolises the born-again Christian’s identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12)

Holy Ghost Baptism is a gift given freely to those who believe in Jesus Christ. It is the endowment of Power from on high to enable believers to carry out the work of the ministry.

(Acts 1:8, 2:1-4)

Healing is for the physical ills of the human body and is accomplished by the power of God through the prayer of faith and the laying on of hands as well as the anointing of the Holy Spirit

(Mark 16:18; James 5: 14-15).

God’s plan is for every believer to be a witness to the world proclaiming the Good News of the kingdom, bringing the world to the salvation knowledge of Jesus Christ and making disciples. (Matthew 23:18-20; Mark 16:15-16). John 14:6, 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1)

Giving into the local church is a major Covenant obligation that we have toward God as His partners for the support of all the ministries of the church, missions, the poor, the homeless, the widows and otherwise unfortunate. (Malachi 3:89-12; Genesis 14:18-20; Genesis 8:17-18) 

We believe the only way possible to live a Christian life is by God’s power within us.  So, we seek to practice a daily dependence on God’s Spirit to enable us to do what is right.  (Philippians 2: 13, Ephesians 5; 18)
